BTW, Kota Kinabalu was a place I would love to return to. Anuar Zain’s concert was splendidly marvellous….really…those who missed it…too bad! Maybe next time ya….

AZ look-a-like & ‘yours truly’
This guy is a cast from Siam Niramit. In person, he look much similar to Anuar Zain, than he is in this picture. When he smile to the tourists who was surrounding him. I was as usual circling him. I was so bz with the elephant, photo-taking and of coz, being lifted by one of them, the elephant, that is. Fortunately, the elephant didn’t go berserk and crush me with its trunks…pheww..!! Never thought of such things when I was paying the 20baht to have my picture taken. But that’s beside the point, back the picture above, I was like tingling all over when I saw him. hhahaha….this by the way, was my second snap of picture with him *gatal sungguh*..ya have to admit lah …..

Among the things that I did in Bangkok besides eat, shop and sleep 
Next trip to Bangkok, I wanna book the City Tour and if Siam Niramit is still playing, I have got to catch it AGAIN. The downside is that, I have some issues with the Credit Card bills after I made payments for hotel with the tour agency, they charged me TWICE for the same transaction of abt SGD400 over ….I’m worried but already in the midst of sorting it out with *Tooooot* bank and *toooooot* travel agency…*sigh*…very mah-fun
But my advice, avoid First Hotel. Its got bed bug, we found 1 at least (bad enough Ok!!), they got cockroaches (the entire clan, i think), because initially I found 1 tiny one, then the following gets bigger, and bigger…and I have no idea how many I made jude kill. I’m not a fan of killing cockroaches but jude pretty much squash them and flush it down the toilet. Toilet is super dirty. The shower head is YUCKY, but I need to shower. So like it or not…just get it done and over with. You think we stay on? Noooooooooooooooooo….we move to D’Ma Pavillion Hotel..Thanks June for the recommendation…MUCH,MUCH, MUCH BETTER. The typical nice hotel which meets our expectation. So the holiday gets worse, because the ‘Red Flag’ decides to fly high…and so comes the entire package of headache, backache, cramps…and of coz the moody and no-mood-to-have-fun. So I’m like slacking towards the end of the holiday. But cannot ah..I just stay quiet and try to enjoy where possible. The crazy hormones took over and I’m doomed. But among all of it, I stil have to say I enjoy the Tuk Tuk ride the most. it was without a doubt a HELL RIDE. The rode opposite directions of the road, make so many illegal u-turn ( they make it look legal), and having the wind blowing at your face while you squeeze in a small Tuk Tuk with 4 fleshy, fat, well-fed buddies. It adds to the fun. And yes Tuk Tuk is the way to go…but somehow they have a flat rate of 100Baht…try to bargain coz its really not that much ….
More to tell but I would say it was heck of an experience in Bangkok.
Thanks F4 for the adventurous trip. We’ll have an even better one next trip. Wherever it may be….

But its ok….because just after my holiday and work madness, Anuar Zain was in town and caught him performed at Mediacorp Suria. Work can put one corner! Haahah….Friday night was being serenaded by him with Kau Bunga Cintaku and Ketulusan Hati….the crowd was silent in awwwwwww…while watching him…me too…included And coming Sunday, repeat telecast on TV @ 11 am….

Had so much fun in KL? yes I did.
Had so much fun returning to work? HELLLLL NOOOOO!!!
I’ve barely get to breathe easy since …..ehmmm…since I was half way back from KL. Boss started calling on Saturday while I was at Pagoh stopover. Team mate got hospitalized and I’m suppose to follow up with her stuff on top of the plateful that I already have waiting for me.
So ok fine…i expected it to be like what it is. But honestly, its physically DRAINING. This course I’m at should end by mid day Friday and I pray hard I get to go home and SLEEP throughout my extended weekends. D&D is cancelled due to some ridiculous reason which is not worth elaborating. I hope things slow down come next Monday onwards.
Now I’m waiting for Jude to finish her Module 10 i.e. Accessing Data with Microsoft ADO.NET….ekk…oops wait! she just gave up and wants to continue tomorrow…
ok i’m outta here.

My very big box from DHL
got it this morning…thanks to my ’secretary’, dearest Mama always there to back me up. She signed for it….At 7pm I got home after a crazy day at work, calmly had my dinner….spent some quality time playing with dear Ryan, spent some time with him to watch Thomas & Friends while Papa watch ‘Sensasi’. After Ryan’s dad pick him up, mama & papa continue watching ‘Sensasi’ while I closed the door to my room and felt like ripping off the package tat stares at me on the bedroom floor. Of course it wasn’t tat dramatic….i slowwwwwly cut open the edges and voilaaaaa!!! Only God knows how I felt at that moment. The package reached SG safely and in good condition. DHL! You made me proud to be your customer. eheheh…like it make much different ahahaha…
And not forgetting the wonderful friends that help me get the package (u know who u are). I thank you so very much for going through that much trouble (u also know wat kinda trouble). I’m not particularly sure if they are reading my blog. But doesn’t really matter! Coz I thank them anyway….always thankful also that I have them as friends.

Work week had been madness!!!! But its a good thing of coz since I had no time to idle. Since today is FRIDAY, I make time to blog.
Bad News – I can’t go KL, so my 8 Sept plan was cancelled due to some unforeseen circumstances. But I’m not grounded for life…just for this short while. Might still go KL somewhere during the fasting mth if I can take leave or probably just over the weekend.
Good News – Anuar Zain’s latest single ‘LELAKI INI’ was well received in Singapore. This is according to personal observations of the general public who gave their comments on air in the local Malay radio station. And his fans out there in Singapore are beginning to emerge yet again to render support to his comeback after 5 years without an album. But he was never quiet in those 5 years despite not having a latest album. He is still bz with shows on tv, always on magazine, private functions (tat I always attend).
And what I appreciated most is when the closest of my buddies SMSed me with supporting words for Dear Mr Idola aka Anuar Zain aka Abg Anuar. They enjoyed his song VERY MUCH. These are friends who gave me their honest opinion and they don’t do it just to please me. These are genuine remarks coming from my closest friends. Ladies, I LOVE U ALL – LOADS for appreciating the talent and the man ;P *HUGGY HUGGY*
For these reasons, I am proud to call myself a fan of ANUAR ZAIN…ok lets upgrade myself…friend of Anuar Zain. Friend sounds better ya? *watever lah..this is my blog anyway, why should u all bother* hahahhaha
Enough said, let’s just wait for the full album veryyyyyy soon (in September). I dedicate TEMAN TERULUNG to all those friends I have known for so long that if we were to reminisce over our good and bad times, I have no idea how long we need.
My good wishes to Anuar Zain and his very hardworking team for producing a superb masterpiece! Keep up the good work u wonderful people! We will always be behind you…and at times beside you!

So I settled for the simplest solution. Less is more!!! So we settle for less 
But I’m sure now I have more time to upload photos of my encounter with anuar zain ya! I’m more interested in that, than anything else.

No matter how many photos I upload…nothing beats the experience of being there….my first time attending a recording in a Studio in Malaysia. The environment is different from Singapore. Nevertheless, I had my moments. Feeling jadi crew lah konon….melutut depan stage just for the sake of getting the best shot. Floor Manager said can take pictures but strictly NO FLASH. But I tot I accidently used it ONCE. Freak out for a while. But glad that no one came and chased me away.

Day 1 of the week before I go KL for the weekend.
It was in my thought a weekend getaway and probably time to catch up with friends there coz I heard dear Mr AZ is not having any show. But oh boy I was soooooooooo wrong. He’s having his recording of RTM’s Konsert Mega Aidilfitri on Friday 17 Aug, then another show at FINAS on 19 Aug. For sure 17 Aug can’t go..but its ok…can watch tat on hari raya at RTM. Both requires some sort of pass *no idea if can get or not* So a dear fren in KL offered to take pass for the 19 Aug show. Initially we plan to head back home on Sunday evening. But now that there are show, me and Z decided going back on Monday would avoid the inconvenient of rushing back after show. So there we have it..we are departing on Sat morning and returning on Monday noon. Should be back by Monday evening.
I’m also trying my luck with calling ERA.fm for the Anugerah ERA 2007 free ticket. Show is telecast only on ASTRO on 8 Sept and also live broadcast via ERA.fm….so that weeekend also got loads of anuar zain show. *scratch head* how to go so many show???? *sob sob*
But then again, i foresee that AE 2007 might be a bit far-fetched, coz getting ticket is closed to impossible. Then the 7 Sept show’s ticket cost a few hundred ringgit. I might just forgo all the 7 & 8 Sept shows…and instead still go KL to chaperon my 2 cousins and partners for their shopping spree…All I need to do is make sure I checked in at a hotel that has ASTRO RIA…tat way i get to watch it LIVE…how’s tat? It would be cheaper than going to Genting’s Arena of the Stars. Is this a cheaper alternative?
Orite i shall think abt this…..for now its Lunch time..yeah!!!!
