Mum sprain her back so no chores for the next many many manyyy days. Pa, Bro and me have to take over the household chores. And to make things harder, Dino (our house rabbit) is sick as well. A visit to the vet this afternoon confirmed that he is having ‘GastroIntestinal Stasis @ ileus’. It can be deadly. Doc said, he lost his appetite. Refuse to poop. Making the stomach filled with gas. And it CAN POSSIBLY burst. That will cause a FLATLINE.
So I worried for ma, worried for dino. But I suspected that Dino’s condition is the after effect of Ma. Well, ma and dino are so called companion. three of us worked, while ma will attend to Dino most of the time. Change his bedding, top up his food, drinks….talk to him….tat sort of bonding thingy. This is the second time that Dino fell sick right after Ma fell sick. Well technically Ma’s not sick. She’s just in pain due to the sprain. So Dino is stressed out by Ma’s lack of attention for him. That is potentially the caused of his stressed and in turn resulted in the ileus.
I’ve got to administer medications for him. As usual, he refuse. Pa got a scratch while trying to administer the medicine. Each time I encounter the episode of giving Dino medicine. I”m the one that get all stressed out. I know I’m bigger. But he is so fragile that I dare not get all rough and tough by forcing it down his throat. But if he doesn’t poop well by the next few days. Well, I guess my fear should not be a factor no more. I’ve got to build the courage and handle Dino.
Right now all I wish is for Dino and Ma to get well soon. So that things will be as usual. And also Ma will get to care for Ryan again. She misses doing tat. Dino misses Ma, Ma misses Ryan. Ryan have no idea. Hhahaha….
Back to work tomorrow, managed to get all this settled. Tomorrow is yet another long long day….i’m tired already from doing all this. I tink once all this matter is settled down. I probably got for a nice break in some resort that is not threaten by 5meter waves or tsunami or things like that…..probably Sentosa will be just fine. Or just 1 night at the Royals….ehmmm tats an idea….weekend at Royals….

Friday nite was a mess ….and I don’t even know how to make the story brief. Probably, a step-by-step way of telling the story would help to stress out how messed up it was…
- Suppose to go swimming with JD. But Cancel coz we wanna go Karaoke with the guyz.
- Eve has been wanting to go swimming…so I cancelled Karaoke plan so I can go swimming with Eve. Poor gal, coz she’s been asking me so many time.
- Then while at work, in the toilet, realised my ‘FLAG’ was up that day. So I cancelled swimming to go HOme.
- Then my so called..fancy idea…i proposed to bring ma and eve to watch ‘JANGAN PANDANG BELAKANG’ at west mall. So I book THREE tickets.
- Then out of the blue, Eve called to say that her sister is coming. And I can’t possibly leave her alone at home. So that’s where my panic button was hit and I was thinking how how how? Coz its a horror movie and don’t even think that I wanna even sit alone in the cinema. Technically not alone lah…but i need someone whom I can lean on…hahaha….
- Then…see i”m tired already telling this complicated story…going through it is worse….
- Then, thank God I got a car…..courtesy of my neighbour we drove to pick up Burn. Then we proceed to West Mall, to “add salt to my wound”. Carpark was FULL. And gantry wouldn’t open. Thanks to ma’s magic spell ahahahhaha…*tat was fun*…3 cars exit and we find our way tot he carpark and got a slot.
- So i tot since burn was there…we can reshuffle here and there to get a seat. The nyonya at the counter say there is a seat besides us. So i bought the ticket. Guess what, Its a SOLO SEAT separated by the AISLE…i really felt like screwing the nyonya. Seriously, the booking system sucks..Collecting the tickets also wasn’t that simple to think that you made online booking. Well, probably just my bad experience. So end up, Burn sat alone. me and 2 cuz sat together. Ma sat alone. You called tat watching movie together…I was angry f
Saturday was challenging in its own way…driving into ORCHARD RD area ..never did that before..there’s always a first time for something right…so there you have it…had my 1st time driving into Orchard Rd heavy traffic without my bro nor Z’s company. Phewww…I did it safely with 4 teenage kids riding with me.
Then we open up our booth for the LIME Flea Market which we got abt $80 in total earnings excluding our expenses. Good enough for a start…going to do it again sometime next mth.
Sunday was a great, fulfilling (to the stomach) Mothers’ Day celebration and I bought for my mum and granma slippers ..u know they say, “Syurga terletak di telapak kaki ibu” translation –> “Heaven is at your mama’s sole”…did i get the translation right..well basically you figure it out yourself if u dun get what i mean…..So I tot a new pair of shoes ought to beautify my route to heaven But Ma being Ma, I bought her a different design from what granma had. But guess what, she wants the same design that i bought for granma, its vice versa sometime. The last time I bought Ma a FILA bag, granma want something similar. The feeling is like …having twin daughters…not that I ever had any. But i imagined it would be such. But its ok…they deserve more than just shoes..But this time I told Ma that Bro should get her the pair she wants. So its fair lah…she get 2 mummy day’s present from her 2 kids Rite! Tat’s it….
Today, Monday, back to work as usual. Lunch will be 12.30 today coz Z’s joining us. JD said that Z’s missing us already.hahahah…as if…
I just dun like it when my mum is sick. She sprain her back while taking care of little ryan. Told her umpteen times not to carry heavy stuff including a little boy. But Ma being ma…just couldn’t help it.
So she’s on a week break from babysitting. Due for check up on Friday. So me, bro and Pa have to take over the chores. Thank God bro helped to clear Dino’s poop and clean his cage, made coffee for breakfast. I woke up so late that I had to take a cab to work. Nothing new there. The numerous traffic lights along the route just make things worse. But I still managed to reach office at 9am..so still ok lah…
Got to send Dino for a nice manicure/pedicure at the Pets Station this weekend. Ehmmm…..and sign of for that car sharing thingy….wow suddenly like i got loads to do already.
Where in the world can i get a thin planner. I just lost track of things to do when I don’t list them down. Bookshops dun sell planner in the middle of the year. Not even the biggest bookshop in SG.

There was never a day in my life since a long time ago that I stop thinking abt running my own business.Today, while reading an article on AsiaOne.com, below is something I quote,

JD should be back tmr from the cruise. Today I was so bored that I have to find ways to make my lunch more interesting as compared to eating alone at the usual eatery.
So Z to the rescue. Yeap! Made my way to town to eat at Banquet@Clifford Ctr. I was actually craving for the Sliced Fish Soup again that made me travel 6 stops away from my office. Took me abt 1.5hrs in all.
Well at least I do a tiny winny bit of exercise (i.e. the walking)…and sweat it out a bit…after eating so-called healthy lunch (i.e. soupy2 stuff and starfruit juice)
Today back to the ever problematic RDARS problem which is almost impossible to solve. Still can’t solve.
Can’t wait for 6+ where I need to leave on the dot.so i won’t miss the talk I sign up for later at GE.

Today I plan to figure out the AS400 problem. JD is not around. She’s chilling on board Star Cruise vessel sipping her Earl Grey ..may. Nicely placed beside her is ‘Devil Wear Prada’ the book that shall keep her occupied for the next few days. And I’m here typing a blog abt her. I think she deserve this break. I had my well deserved break few weeks back. Now is her turn. The downside though, I would have no lunch khaki. Probably I’ll have to ask CC with me.
Tonight no plans. Just head on home for dinner and tv shows. Then lights out.
Tomorrow I’ve got this TALK at town. Hopefully there’s gonna be loads of food coz the talk is scheduled for 7pm-9pm. To think that I have to rush there after work, I doubt I’ll have time for dinner. But all that ought to change if I’m on leave tmr. We’ll see abt that.
Finally spent the night at gram’s over the weekend with ma. Then drop by CCK to visit Z’s ma coz she slipped and fell, suffered 2 fracture on her left hand. Ouch!!!! I can see the swelling of her fingers still on Sunday. That is enough to make my face all crumpled up just imagining the pain she’s enduring. We left after just half hour of chit-chat and small talks. Mum was happy to get to know Z’s ma. Coz she only bump into her once @ our friend’s wedding. Hardly any time to chit-chat then.
She can’t help looking at Z and his granma. It reminded her of how her granma just adore her. Even till this morning, she was having flashback. She even shed a tear in the lift yesterday coz she said she was touched at how Z’s granma clinged on to him and with her sad look, she just meant “don’t go out there and leave me here”. I know how Z’s granma is coz this ain’t the first time I saw them together like tat. She just adore Z really LOADS. But my mum saw it for the first time and she just got all emotional. She kept saying ’sama mcm buyot’ (same like great-granma)…I have the priviliged of staying with my maternal great-granma. She’s one strong babe, I must say. She’s mid-wife (bidan kampung) by profession and she treat sickness with herbs she hunt in the jungle. Tats how ma told the story. One incident I remember clearly was when my great-granma gave me $20 bill – the bird version. I spent it and got into trouble for doing so. Left abt $12 which I was told to return *sob* *sob*

The first section above was written around 10am…now at 4.30pm i’m bloggin again. Sipping my hot 3-in-1 milo. And I’ve already signed up for car sharing with NTUC Car Coop. Lets see how the approval gonna go. Till then..we settle for public transport.
Not that productive today, neither am I slacking Coz I did managed to get a few things up and running. But I foresee the week will be a slow one. Was surfing the net for articles on AZ. Stumble upon some old articles.

I’m normally more lazy and today then any other day.
To make things worse, waist down onwards its aching. The joints, knees and ankle and every part of my bones and muscles are aching real bad. That’s what 5.6km walk + run can do to me. Why? Because upper body is heavier..so lower body suffers having to carry the load for 5.6km
So that’s the JP Morgan episode. Haven’t been good with uploading the photos. Coz need to transfer from HP to PC…then PC to the uploading into the blog. Too much hassle. Probably do it when I’m TRuly free…like now..but open-concept office doesn’t give you much freedom despite self-defining that its your free time. Its not exactly free. I’ve got work but choose to wait till monday to do it. Coz I’m so hungry after having lunch at 10.45am. Who in the world have lunch at 10.45am. I tot its early lunch but its more like brunch and just sliced fish soup. It doesn’t help to hold the stomach till 6.15pm. Yes! Yes! I plan to leave at 6.15pm SHARP for that matter and grab a heavy heavy dinner before catching the Spiderman 3.
It has been a bz week overall. At home, the buzz abt getting a new car is on the top list. And we start to shed of the other expenditure for the sake of another car. But I doubt that its happening because it will cost loads more $$$$ which I wouldn’t consider cash well spent.At most we end up with more loans. Ok still in discussion stage abt the auto-mobile chapter. Other things, I’m going to gram’s for the wkend. Spending the night there…how long ago I do that….very long ago. I made short trips occasionally but this time staying over. To make up for my late nights that she was angry abt. hehhe….pujuk lah kira kan. ok..haahah…
